JUNK The mallets all have cracks at the head. The heads fall off. I returned the first set i got, and the second set is the same. How can FRANKLIN put out a product this bad?? They hate us, the customers. DON'T BUY

Bought this as a gift for family who enjoys yard games during the summer. They loved it. The set was sturdy, colorful, and will provide much enjoyment during outdoor bbq's and get togethers.

I bought this and had it sent for a Christmas gift. After it was shipped, I saw reviews that several people gave it a low rating because it came with many pieces broken. Worried, I ask the recipient to open the package and inspect the contents now instead of waiting. Yep..it arrived with several broken mallets. Don’t even thing about purchasing this set!

I bought the "professional" set for my family. Every mallet was broken and the wickets were so flimsy that they bent immediately when placed in the back yard. I returned for full refund. I did not want a replacement as they were so poorly made.

Perhaps if there was a screw attachment between the stick and hitting part it wouldn’t crack and fall apart. Disappointing because we were looking forward to our family time playing this new game today.

Broke one of the stakes on the very first hit of the game using this set. Super disappointed, but the effort to return seems like too much. For now we’ve glued the wood together. Don’t buy this set.

Total trash. Opened it up and several of the heads were snapped off. Looking at the other reviews this is a common experience

Similar to other reviews, we opened the set to find multiple mallets cracked and broken. When we went back to the store to exchange it for a new one and after some not so great customer service we found that the other set they had in store was also broken. 0/10 would not recommend
DICKS HAS DONE IT AGAIN
Junk like this is why I do most of my shopping online. I should be able to trust that Dick's won't sell me a garbage brand that I'll open to find broken on Christmas morning. Then have to waste my time driving to and from the store again with Dick's offering me absolutely nothing to make it right. I will never go back to Dick's.

Looks nice, but the mallets are poorly made and two of them split apart down the middle the first time we used this set. One of them used by an 8-year-old kid, so not as if they were being swung super hard. The issue is that they drill out a hole in the center of the shift for the head to fit into, with a peg, but the peg doesn't fill the entire hole, so there's a hollow space and it breaks. The club heads are also glued in, not screwed in like normal ones, so the whole thing is badly designed and breaks really easily.

We broke 3 mallets in one weekend. The mallets are far too delicate compared to the weight/size of the balls. Love croquet, but not this set.
