Get The Right Fit Or Pay The Price $$$

Wanted so badly to love these boots. Normally wear 8.5. Store fitted me for 7.5. I told them there seemed to be a lot of room in the toes, but the salesman told me I need that room. Sold me an expensive pair of insoles too. Wore the iron rangers around and went through two rounds of heel blisters. Went back to the store and they just kind of shook their heads because they were unreturnable. I’ve kept wearing them, but I can’t take long walks or I’ll blister in the heel, even after 3+ months of almost daily use. The online fit tool tells me I should be in 7ee. I’m disappointed because I really wanted to love these boots.

Best Boot For The $

I currently own 19 pairs of heritage boots. The Iron rangers are great I have them in all the available leathers , I also have all the blacksmiths which are also great , I have the roughnecks and the loggers . Basically I wore 606 and 608 redwings outside in construction for 26 years. Them I retired and tried on the heritage boots and can't get enough

Great Boot.

Only had these for about a week. Still breaking them in, so this is a short term review. Overall quality seems to be very good. I was hesitant to buy because the sizing seems to be hard to nail down. I wear a 9d in almost everything. The ride wing tool sized me at a 7.5ee. I decided to go to a 8ee. The ee is not as wide as I thought it would be. I like to wear a slightly thicker socks. Sizing was spot on. Boots are snug but not painful. Hope this helps someone buying a pair. Definitely worth the money.

Red Wing Iron Rangers

I live in the UK and found this boot company on line. I loved the look of the Copper Rough and Tough leather so decided on the Iron Rangers. So glad I did - reports of breaking in issues do not apply in my case.... straight out of the box and as comfortable as can be, very happy. I have ordered the Rose Anvil kilties too, having read reports of the eyelets marking the tongue.
