Rated 3 out of 5 by from You Asked I've owned this shoe or its earlier models for over 15 years, have literally had 12 pair, and prior models received 5 Stars. This pair has changed. The inside of the strap is no longer leather. I looked all over town to see if I could find some old style and would have returned the ones purchased directly from Reef. Dillards had my old school favorites, but only up to size 10 and I need an 11. This is either the second or third time you have changed or discontinued my favorite model. It's a flip flop, there's no need to innovate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sandal At the request of my husband, I purchased these for my husband to give as a gift for a 50-something year old, professional male who had admired a similar pair of Reef's that my husband wore. I would describe this progressive person as highly intelligent, discriminating, athletic, adventurous, and an outdoorsman, who wishes to be comfortable without compromising style. He was so ecstatic to receive them, that, my husband reported, he wore them for the entire week-long meeting /event that "all the guys" attended. On receiving them he commented on the "nice leather and the cool opener." He expressed his amazement at the comfort and foot support. Great gift!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Short Term I have bought a few pairs of the Fanning, and bought the Leather Fanning a year ago because the look was phenomenal. Extremely comfortable, but should be worn when going to parties and not around the house. The style is excellent, however too much use wears them out too quickly. The leather on the inside starts to rip away after a few months, so it's best to have another pair of sandals for use around the house. PS. Whoever said to get rid of the bottle opener is nuts. The bottle opener is what sets these sandals apart from the rest. Nothing better than sitting at a party and saying "I don't need an opener. I got one right here."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Shoe / Flip-flop ever I was recommended to purchase this specific brand for my planters fasciitis . I had been struggling with pain for over a year and a half. Nothing was working, not even cortisone shots or PT. As a last resort before considering surgery, I purchased these... Within a week, my pain was gone and has not returned. This is my second pair as this is my only footwear of choice now. Did I mention I hate the feeling of flip-flops, but not these. They are beyond awesome. They are the most comfortable footwear I own - I wish I could wear them with a business suit. One suggestion for anyone who purchases these... It takes about a week to break in. Initially, I thought they were too small as they felt a bit snug. After a week, they fit like a glove. The longer I have them, the more comfortable they get.

First two pairs were of the rubber that lasted about 11 months of everyday usage --- after the a while they started to smell of rubber, of course check out the duration! My last 4 pairs have been of the all leather and MAN they were the best footwear for a climate such as the one city they call "The Land of Eternal Spring" --- I need not further the climate conditions as the comfort and looks either in a linen suit of just shorts ... I look GREAT! My REEF, I now are looking for another pair but as you know change is difficult!!! A discount offer would slightly soften the change blow! Thanks for listening,
