I have used this product for several years. I especially like it because it goes on my clothes and NOT on my skin. Plus it lasts through several washings. Not only does it repel insects all over Africa (I've been 5 times), it even wards off the mosquitoes in Tennessee!

Purchased this for hiking and working in wooded areas of the yard. I have not found a tick on my clothing or myself and have not been bothered by mosquitoes. It does what it is designed for and claims to do.
