Rated 4 out of 5 by from Repel Sportsmen Max work well Repel works well to repel insects, mosquitoes, black flies etc. I generally use Ultrathon cream which lasts approximately 12 hours. The cream form can be applied more precisely to exposed areas of skin. That let's me control how much and where I apply it and minimizes waste from overspray. However, the repel aerosol can be applied to clothing. So I use it in conjunction with the other. It works well to keep insects away, Even in the evening at dusk when mosquitoes tend to attack on earnest!My only concern is that the active ingredient (DEET) is a solvent so I am a bit nervous about applying it to synthetic "performance" clothing. So far I haven't seen any detrimental effects, but plan to monitor that aspect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW!!! This is the best I have found. No ticks or chiggers with this. I live in a wooded area with a lot of ticks. I won’t go out in the woods or near them without this on. It definitely does Repel. I’m on my third can.
