Terrible

I bought this a month ago, used it 4 times and the paddle sunk and left me stranded in the middle of the lake. Wouldn’t recommend.

No Manufacturer Warranty

I bought this Retrospec paddleboard from Dick’s Sporting Goods, and the paddle shaft broke within my second time using it. I later learned that Dick’s is not an authorized retailer for Retrospec, which means the manufacturer warranty does not apply unless you buy directly from Retrospec or an authorized dealer. Dick’s Sporting Goods would not replace the paddle and directed me to contact the manufacturer, who could not help because of the warranty policy. The board itself is solid for the price, but the included accessories are lower quality. I’d recommend purchasing from an authorized dealer if you want warranty protection. I have contacted Retrospec again and will update this review if I hear back.

Bad Customer Service From Bote

missing fin lock. contacted Bote. they don’t have this $.05 piece. told me to buy from Amazon or take the whole SUP back to Dick’s This is after multiple emails back and forth and scanning and emailing proof of purchase …. for a $.05 piece of a $500 SUP ended up buying them on Amz for another $7

Bought this for my 10 year old as a birthday present. She is 5' and 105lbs. Arrived quickly. Love the coral color. Instructions were easy to follow for inflation. Other than the 5 minutes of HARD work LOL to pump it up it was easy. I inflated it and used it the same day. Both me and her were able to balance and paddle solo and we both were able to be on it at the same time. I paddled standing while she sat and vice versa until she was comfortable to be solo. Highly recommend. I will most likely purchase another one and add the kids version for my 7 year old.
