Bought this to wear at a softball tournament in 100 degree heat. Direct sunlight is the bane of you comfort level. I can tolerate the temp but not the direct sunlight. it may not be cooler but more comfortable in the shade.

Don't Get It Wet!!
Bought this and wore it to the lake. It got wet from being in the lake. Hours later the hat was literally falling apart. You'd think for $40 it would hold up after getting a little wet.
