Utilizing additive manufacturing for the variable liner components, Axiom3D provides performance tunability for improved impact response. By leveraging Riddell’s database of thousands and thousands of Tru-Fit head scans coupled with an athlete’s head circumference to determine the optimal shell size and energy management components, this Axiom model provides a similar fit and feel to Tru-Fit —using its signature combination of interior liner pads—without requiring a 3D head scan. InSite Smart Helmet technology works with Riddell InSite Analytics, an optional subscription-based coaching tool for football programs, to track and analyze impact exposure to enhance protection and performance. To start transmitting data, a coach or athletic trainer must complete setup steps, including purchasing a subscription, activating a login, obtaining a Riddell Sideline Device, assigning the sensor to the correct player and team, and pairing the InSite Player Unit with the Sideline Device.
