Not Durable
We got these Flite Cleats for my 11-year-old daughter for Christmas because her teammates raved about them. She started wearing them in late February. She’s alternated between her cleats (when she’s on dirt) and a turf shoe (when’s she’s on turf). It’s now 3 months later (late May). The front toe of both Flite Cleats are worn nearly through (she is not a pitcher). Either the design of these cleats is weak or the materials used are sub-standard. The sole of the shoe stops at the bottom, whereas most competitors have the rubber sole wrap up over the toe. We are keeping the holes from growing by sealing it together with duct tape and flexiseal, hoping to make it to the end of the season (which is unlikely, given that they need to withstand two more months of 100+ heat). We never thought about getting her the pitching toe cleats as she isn’t a pitcher. She liked the fit of the shoes, but we aren’t going to continue dropping $100+ on cleats that can’t last 4 months.
