Great Rod With Cheap Reel

I bought this combo for Salmon fishing. I hooked up many fishes last year and was able to drag them to shore. Rod has all the power to maneuver the fish easy. The reel equipped with has issues. It had line going under the spool while reeling back and wasted lot of time trying to fix it and the ant reverse broke after using it for two days straight fishing. I replaced the reel with Quantum Optix 4000 this year and landed(beached some) good number of fish. I recommend to just buy the rod alone. Dicks Sporting Goods
