Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Warmth but, average quality Had the previous pair of Rocky boots with genuine leather uppers (item 7683) for almost 10yrs with no issues. Great boot for Central NY winters. Replaced with this version. During the second winter is this boot, one of the top eyelets/hooks pulled out of the material. As I've owned the boots for about 1.5yr, they are no longer covered under warranty. Will try to get the missing lace hook repaired.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from They've tolerated many years of varied abuse After 16 years, my Blizzard Stalkers are finally wearing out. They've been my cold-weather deer hunting boots, warm-weather deer hunting boots, and all around winter boots. I've also taken them fishing through muddy spring portages. My feet are never cold, and they're never hot, either. I'm through a FOURTH set of laces and these boots have tolerated hundreds of miles of disrespect from me. Time for another pair.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money! Bought 2 pair of #7452 blizzard stalkers when they first came out, and had the same problem mentioned by others. The rubber on the back heel deteriorates, when I took the second pair out the box to wear that back part of the heel just fell apart, never worn! One year guarantee, ha, if you only wear them for hunting like I do, they may last 3-4 years @ maybe 1-5 days a year wear. Don't buy 2 pairs at the same time, they will fall apart before you get to wear them and it will be past the I year guarantee. I even tried patching the heel area with goop, but it doesn't hold well, might try it again and spread it further over the leather and see if it holds up. I liked the boots, but would never buy another pair of them! Buddy of mine had them also, same thing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great boots but wish you carried them in my size I love Rocky boots. 1200 gram insulation keeps my feet warm. I am a deer hunter. I can sit in my tree stand for hours in 0-20 degree weather and my feet stay warm. I had my last pair of Rocky boots for over 10 years and they still look great but are worn out. Only downside, my boots are too big. I ordered the smallest size, size 7. Rocky doesn’t appear to make 1200 gram insulation in Women’s sizes and doesn’t make men’s sizes small enough to fit my size 7.5 foot. Yes I am a woman now wearing boots two sizes too big because I gave up fit for warmth. Would have given you 5 stars if they would have fit me in my size!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these boots Have had my pair for 7 years of Central NY winters. No matter how long I've been out in the snow and even sub zero temps my feet have never been wet, or cold, or uncomfortable. Never. My only warning would be the weight/bulk of the boot. Not your average hiking boot. But I figure the extra weight makes my legs stronger.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Waterproof I bought these for my husband, who works outside. His feet still get wet, and also one of the eyelets broke-he's had these boots less than two months! Not a fan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good boots I bought my boots about 7 years ago. I think they were just called blizzard boots then. I live in northern Montana and they have been through some severe weather. Have horses on a small ranch. Out working often. These Boots were always warm and comfortable. They had good grip - even on ice - although you can still slip on ice with them, they did slip less than most other boots I have worn. For example, my Danner EMS boots are supposed to be non slip and they slip like a mad fool on Ice. Consequently I wear my blizzard boots on calls in the winter. They have only the past year started to come apart where the Gore-Tex attaches to the leather or whatever it is. That's probably because I've worn them in the mud and rain in the spring too and probably shouldn't have. Anyway definitely will get another pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfort & Traction I work at a ski resort, and wear them daily. They are very comfortable. My feet haven't gotten cold in them, and they seem to wick moisture quite well. Traction in various conditions and surfaces is excellent. These are my third pair. The second pair are 4 years old and still going. I just wanted to make sure I got another pair before they got changed.
