Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1 year later I've had these boots for over a year, working 10-12 hours a day 5-7 days a week. I work in the elements. I have tromped through water, been on ladders for hours of the day with no arch pain, rested heavy objects on them, and put them through a good bit of everything. They still do not leak water, they are still comfortable, they have not torn at any seams and keep my feet happy. I would buy these again without hesitation and would highly recommend them to friends and coworkers. I had to replace the laces today but that is expected. They do not have to be broken in like some other boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trucking with this boot was great I bought this boot two years ago. Work for me is 500 miles a day with 4 or more trailer drop and hooks. In and out of the trailer and navigating many types of yard surfaces including one where water is usually 4 inches or more of rain or mucky melting snow. I never got so much as a wet toe. After two years the uppers are fine and the the boot is still waterproof. The clutch foot tread has worn to the point where I am replacing them with the exact same boot before the coming winter. This old pair will serve around the house just fine for another two years I bet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from At first glance Its hard to leave an educated review without putting some miles on the boots. That being said, I have had my boots three weeks now. I'm a union electrician and I had a big shutdown over labor day weekend. I wore the boots 19 hours without taking them off and I must say they are a very comfortable boot. At this point in time I would purchase another pair without question. We'll see what the future has in store for long term comfort and durability.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the greatest boot I had a pair of these when I first started working on cranes about 2 years ago. The tongue/upper area had some mis-stitching or something going on with it, where it would dig into my leg. I had to cut and modify this area in order to make it comfortable to wear. The soles were comfortable, but didn't hold up very well to the torture I put them through of climbing up and down on the equipment. Plus this is a heavy work boot. I have worn other brands of steel toes that did not weigh as much as these do. Rocky makes better work boots than this model.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great warehouse boot Bought this boot last year for work in warehouse from my local supplier and give it a solid 3-4 stars. Very comfortable when working on concrete floors for 12 hour shifts. Only thing preventing a higher rating is the traction. Tread is lacking when things get messy, I live in Central New York and the transition fromtruck to work site was treacherous with our snow! Overall excellent indoor, or good weather boot !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality boot My only complaint with these boots is that they took forever to break in. After two weeks I thought about returning them because the leather uppers were digging into my ankle so badly that I had bruises. I kept wearing them because of all of the good reviews. At about 3-4 weeks of wear they just kind of conform to your foot. Now at 8 months they are the most comfortable shoe I own period. After a weekend of wearing tennis shoes my feet actually feel good slipping into these work boots. I can work an 8 hour shift on my feet and keep them on after work until I go to sleep and they are still comfortable. Not to mention that they are holding up great and if I cleaned them they'd probably look new. I will be replacing these with a pair of the same boots when these finally wear out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful boot These boots are wildly uncomfortable. I double checked the sizing and everything was correct but they absolutely killed my feet. I broke them in for a few days before heading to work in them and they left me miserable at the end of the day. The soles feel like they are made of steel and put an odd pressure on the back of my heel. I had no choice but to wear them all week as I was working remotely so now I have no chance of being able to return them. I do NOT recommend these boots under any circumstances.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK overall, but the lace hooks are really bad As in the title... the lace hooks on these boots are WAY too shallow. The boots are CONSTANTLY coming unlaced at the top - not an issue I've ever had with Rocky products before. But it's incredibly frustrating, and I've not found a solution that works (other than maybe using really long dress shoe laces - which is a bad idea for obvious reasons). I'm really frustrated and disappointed in that - if the hooks were deeper and actually held the laces in place, these would be great boots - but they just don't work.
