Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good fitting boots Bought a pair of the Rocky Lynx after I had bad luck with the fit of a pair of Chippewa snake boots (they slipped, didn't fit right). These boots fit perfectly. If you like the fit and feel of Rocky boots in general, these fit to size and feel great. They are a little hot in the S.Texas heat, but being waterproof and knee high, that's the price you pay for snake protection. Haven't yet tested the "snake proof" aspect, and hope I don't have to. Also, I noticed a lot of people had complained about the zipper breaking; you DO have to be careful when zipping the side up to make sure that the fabric doesn't get caught in the zipper, just don't force it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent boot!!! Bought these boots for a recent hike into the mountains. I broke them in on some short local hikes and then went on an 8 mile hike through the mountains where we saw 6 rattlesnakes. Boots were comfortable, waterproof, great traction, and best of all, made me feel comfortable walking in an area with so many snakes. Others in my party were consider the boot themselves. On another note...very easy to put on and get off with the side zipper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best boots on the planet! I bought a pair of Rocky snake boots several years ago and was extremely pleased to find that they are the most comfortable hunting boots I've ever worn! Whether in the snake infested bush of Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma, or the prickly pear badlands, nothing has gotten through them! And my snake charming mojo has been in full swing! Struck on the eastern mesas of New Mexico. Hit multiple times in the grasslands of the panhandles, and already face-to-face with a number of slithering characters less than two weeks into archery season this year! There is no doubt that with innumerable strikes and 6 or 7 solid hits, these boots have at the least saved my legs, if not my life! Thanks for such a great product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice boots these are actually waterproof, there comfortable , and seem to be breaking in easily if there anything like my ultralights they will pass the time test ,i really like them so far i do have concerns about the zipper it gets stuck but seems to be getting better with time its missing a few thing the ultra lights have like a thumb hole to help pull them on and the easy pull eye lets for the laces and there thicker at the calf tougher to get your pants over other than that i like them alot i hunt and hike from the flat grass lands up to 13000 feet and these boots are up for the challange

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seem to be very tough boots Fourth pair of Rocky snake boots, first pair of Lynx. Had prolights prior, excellent boots. But I wear them out quickly, especially where lynx has extra help on front. Live in AZ desert and walk dog every day in hard territory. I read about binding on ankles, yes they do. But not bad and the leather adjusts in short time (couple days). Can also try what we did in Marine Corps. Fill boots with hot tap water, drain after 60 seconds. Put on boots and take hike. Leather stretches and forms to your feet. NOT BOILING WATER just tap hot. Don't want to loosen any glued seams.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from aggravated I was told they run big. I wear an 11 so I order a 10.5 they arrived nice boots, but to big. So I brought them back to the store they don't carry them so they order me size10. They came and fit perfect but when I laced them up they dug into my ankle. I tried different sock and walk around my house. Wow they hurt and there was no way I could walk another 20ft nor 100yrds in the woods, I'm really not happy with Rocky for such a good looking, laces, and zipper and would never get to see if they are really water proof. What a waste of time. If you have the time and patience order them.good luck

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed Got these because of the quality I had with previous Rockys. These boots leak, and by these I mean both left and right. I've sprayed them with water proofing spray, but still leak. Major let down, I wish I had returned them and bought the Lacrosse.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Boot! From small streams and tall wet grasses my feet have stayed dry. Breaking in is a bit of a pain due to pinching at the ankle where the lace hooks are so I laced them straight up on the first hook from the eyelet and then cross lace after. Keep them loose cause going to tight will cause more pinch spots. The zipper is nice, but it is a little hard at times to use so I don't use it that much due to me not wanting to make more problems by stressing the zipper. The boot over all is very comfortable once broke in and it is a pretty tough boot. I say 4 out of 5 cause of the pinch spots and hard to use zipper.
