Great Boot
Being underground in rough conditions, wet, uneven and rocky, these are the most comfortable boots I've had thus far. That being said there is only one flaw in the boots. The liner broke loose from the boot and I have to use a shoe horn to get one of them off. If they could prevent this from happening I would say it was the perfect boot for coalmining .

First Pair Great Second Pair Complete Letdown
the first pair i bought were the best boots i have ever owned. the second pair were trash. i dont know if they used a different material (it feels different to the touch) in the back of the heel area inside the boot, but the first pair lasted me 6 months (i work in a horrible enviroment) i was overjoyed to have a pair of boots last that long and they were the most comfortable pair i had ever owned and kept my feet dry the whole time. so i bought another pair. after 1 week of wearing them my heels had worn through the material in the back of the boot straight to the leather and they were chewing up my heels, whereas the pair that i wore for 6 months dont have even the slightest bit of wear on the material in the back and feel like it is a different type of material almost like the first pair was a type of leather and the second pair was a fabric. also the first time i was in 2" of water my feet got wet in the new boots, the old pair never leaked until the seam between leather and soul cracked, and still after that keep my feet drier than the new pair. if i could get more pairs like the first pair that i bought i would wear these boots the rest of the time im in my profession and be happy about buying a new pair every 6 months. but if my feet are going to hurt and have the problems im having with the second pair i bought i will find a different boot.
