First Rocky Brand Boots I've Worn

After not finding American made Rocky boots in Nelsonville while building the water plant years ago I was happy to come across these. I've worn this pair in a factory setting for the last couple of months in the steel processing industry. They came laced an ready to go out of the box. The break in period was rougher an took longer than most other brands I've worn in the past. Oil helped with it. At about the 50 day mark I noticed the hooks for the laces getting loose but the laces are holding up along with the leather the boots are made with. The leather is surprisingly abrasion and cut resistant compared to other brands. Besides the lace hardware starting to come out it's a solid boot. Unfortunately very uncomfortable boots making anythin over 8 hours of wear hard on the feet. Probably wouldn't buy another pair because I like a taller boot for work.

Bought these about a month ago, after wearing them for 1 day my right foot was killing me. Seems like they are 2 different sizes.

Do Not Fit Like Other Rockies

They do not fit like my other Rocky boots. The toe area is cramped making these boots almost impossible to work in all day. Maybe if I shaved a 1/2 inch off my big toes they would be comfortable. Really disappointed in this boot because I love my other Rockies. The other features of the boot work fine but comfort level makes them impossible to wear all day

Great Boots!

Well made, comfortable boots. Mine arrived today and I did about 4 hours of brush cutting wearing them. My feet felt fine the whole time, and I really appreciated the traction in the uneven terrain. I don't think I will even need an orthotic insole with these.

I have recently made a choice to try to purchase whatever I can from American Made Manufacturers. The quality of the goods are usually better, the price is usually a little higher. These Rocky Worksmart boots are more comfortable then other more expensive well known brands that I have purchased, they are waterproof and have the composite toe protection, very competitively priced and MADE IN THE USA!!!
