Still Painful After 40 Years!
I've used these a few times now. So not fully broken in - but I'm not sure I'll get to the point of break in due to how painful these are to wear. I have not bought a pair of rollerblades in probably 20 years. I remember as a teen they would cause so much ancle pain due to the padding digging into your ancles - but I'd endure it as they were my only real means of transportation... FF to this year. I figured I'd buy a pair and get back out there... these were not cheap... well - no improvements in comfort in 20 years... The pain these deliver to your ancles is vicious. Why do they need to make these with hard edged tongues right in the meat of the ancle where you have nerves that shoot pain up your leg. I've tried to twist the tongue to the other side, I've tried keeping the top looser, thicker socks... nothing helps. Seriously Rollerblade!?! After 45 years this is the best you've got? Apart from that - yes, they are well built and probably would last a long time.

These twisters arrived today and they are very pretty!! well done!! my observation for others: 1. I am size 10/28cm in my usual shoe; I was unsure whether to choose 10/10.5 or 11/11.5!! I chose 10/10.5 and they are perfect, they are super comfortable, I went out of the house and at what speed they take they look like a rocket!! I have 21 years without skating, I am 33 years old, I think I made a good choice in this 3-wheel model, everything is practice, the good thing is that I have a notion of skating!! My foot is normal to a little narrow, I wouldn't recommend it for people with wide feet... it says on the box that it comes with an Allen wrench but it didn't come with it :(,, it comes with an insole included which would be your size 10, if you remove it it reaches 10.5 .. it comes with 2 red/black braids.. I feel like you should bring your Allen wrench and a small oil for the bearings!!

Super Durable
I bought these skates over 2 years ago when they came in the tan color. I have ridden them very hard and they are still going strong. They are extremely fast and after adjusting them via the bottom screws I fell in love.

Not So Good
Looks confortable the first time, but fit too narrow, after 15min you scream in pain. disappointing build quality, before use, check the silicon pad on aluminium plate.
