Bad Laces

I bought 3 pairs of this style because I thought they would be comfortable for walking, which I do a lot of. I found the arch support to be to padded causing discomfort in my feet. I did cut some of the foam out which helped. However the loops for the laces came detached making it impossible to correctly lace the shoes. I had read previous reviews which stated the same problem, so I was extremely careful when tying the shoes as to not put any pressure on the loops. I have about 10 pairs of Ryka shoes, but I was very disappointed with these.

Very Comfortable Sneakers/material Could Be Better

I bought these light blue sneakers in early May and started wearing them around Memorial Day. They fit well and are very comfortable for walking long distances. I alternate them with another pair of sneakers. I was very happy with them. In early August, I noticed a hole/fraying in the material on the side of one of the sneakers. I checked Ryka online to see if there was a warranty, but all I found was that if you believe your shoes are defective, you can send them to Ryka for examination and they will determine if defective. I was not happy with that option of packaging and paying to send them to Ryka, so have kept them and continue to wear them. Before I noticed the hole, I had ordered another pair of these particular sneakers in a darker color for the winter. While I am disappointed with the durability of the material on the light blue sneakers , which was my first experience with Ryka, I am hoping I don't have any issues with the material on the darker pair once I begin wearing them.
