Horrific Smell

I purchased these shoes for a vacation that I knew a lot of walking would be done. As soon as I opened the box there was a horrific smell. The card inside said it was because the shoes were treated with a cleaning fluid that would dissipate. It didn’t but got worse. I can’t get rid of it. Unwearable.
