Disappointed In Online Purchase But Love The Shoes!

My positive review is directly for the shoes themselves. This is the first time wearing Ryka and I’m so glad I gave them a try. Love the color, the fit, the light weight, the cushioning, everything. My not so positive comment of this review is for Dick’s online. The soles of the Rykas I received were dirty and the right shoe toe was creased, obvious signs of wear. It would have been nice if that information was made known online before purchase and the price discounted giving the customer a choice. I returned them to my local Dick’s pointing out the usage as my reason for returning. The clerk was polite but could only me a $20 coupon after spending $100. I ended up finding the same shoes elsewhere and at a lower price.

Nice Shoe, But Not A Good Fit For Me

The Podflow is a perfectly fine shoe, but unfortunately it just didn’t work for me. I normally wear the Devotion X Walking Sneakers and decided to give the Podflow a try because of its unique, modern design. I was really hopeful it would be a good alternative. However, after trying them on, it simply didn’t compare to the Devotion X in terms of fit and support. The Podflow seemed to run a bit longer, and the arch support didn’t align properly with my foot, which made it uncomfortable. Overall, it didn’t feel as supportive as what I’m used to. I also noticed that the tongue sat too high on my ankle, causing irritation and discomfort. In the end, they just weren’t the right match for my feet, and I decided to return them.

Perfect Fit

These shoes fit well. I wear an 8 1/2 wide, due to a bunion on my right foot and Ryka are my go-to brand. These have great arch support and I like the Podflow sole which gives extra cushion during workouts.

Narrow Toe Box

These shoes were more narrow than any other Rykas I have....even with a larger size, they felt too much like Nike or Adidas and not "fit for women." The unique fit of Rykas is what keeps me coming back...they usually fit well for toes that like to splay out and cost less than Altra. Sadly, these Podflow walking sneakers missed the mark in the fit category for me. They also have a higher platform than I realized looking at the online photo, a bit questionable for anyone with ankle issues!

Best In Comfort And Wearability!

My new FAVE work and on the go weekend shoes! I have always appreciated Rykä for their intentional design to accommodate the unique fit of women’s workout shoes. These Podflow walkers are literally like walking on pillows! That says a lot when your feet have specific issues and are usually hard to fit in the average shoe design. The comfort is nothing like I’ve ever experienced. I will definitely be buying more of and sharing these with friends and family. Thank you to the design team - these are GOLD!

A Favorite!

I may have found my favorite Ryka of all time! The black and blue both go with my scrubs work uniform. I work in a fast paced chiropractor’s office and need supportive, comfortable shoes that set a good example for patients. These fit the bill! I also have a neuroma in one foot aggravated by pressure and need the wider toe box with narrower (no slip!) heels Ryka provides.

Replaces My Hoka’s..no More Mid Foot Pain.

My all time favorites. My knee pain is better, my feet feel great. I am nearly flat footed, the heel cup holds my heel in place and absorbs so much pressure. I feel these shoes are more proportional for a women’s fit - not a redesign of a man’s shoe.

I've ordered 7.5w in another pair that are slip-ons and loved it. The same size in this version is quite large. I tightened the laces to get a snug feel but it didn't work. The laces consistently come undone. I tried to give it a chance 3 times but because of that, I'm sure I cannot return it. They are soft though.
