Great Fit And Stability

The shoe fits perfectly and is very stable. I was hesitant about the lacing system because I'm used to traditional laces, but it works great! FYI any slack on the laces can be loop around the tag on the tongue flap.

Almost Perfect

I've been wearing the Speedcross shoes for years now and love them. They are great on muddy trails and uneven terrain, their only downside is that they can slip on wet rocks so you have to watch that. Usually I am a size 11 but I had to go a 1/2 size up with the 6's in gtx.

My Goto For All Running.

I absolutely love these shoes! They are my go to for both trail runs and controversially, my road runs. As a heal striker this shoe provides great support and overall rigidity to the foot. The deep lugs keep me stabilized during muddy terrain and the color gets me looks every time.

Wet Or Dry, Best Shoe Ever

I've been a big fan of this show for a while, but only recently switched to the GTX version for the water-resistant feature. By far the best feature is the tread! I trail run in the mixed conditions of Central California's coastal Redwood forests. Some days it's dry forest duff, and other days it's wet slick log crossings, puddles, and slippery rock features, but every day I love the wraparound grip on the top of the foot and ankle the shoe provides for support. The attached photo shows the normal wet and slippery trail conditions.
