Really great for trail running this winter in variable snow/mud conditions. The rugged tread is definitely overkill if there are any pavement stretches, so best saved for strictly trail conditions. My feet always stay dry throughout despite puddles and sloppy sections.

On my second pair. Not your typical application...I wear them in the livestock barn 7 days a week. Waterproof is essential. Grip is necessary. Comfort required above all. These low rise shoes deliver it all. I originally bought these for light cross country, but I started wearing these in the barn when my last pair of boots finally gave up. I may not wear boots in the barn again. You can imagine the messes I get into cleaning stalls and working animals in the pasture. No leaks, no slips, 12-hour days and the last thing I think about is my feet at the end of the day. Not your normal review, I guess. Not your normal shoes either!!
