Dude I bought the supercross gtx back in Jan. of 2020, I hike approximately 20 miles a week, they started to wear down last year (2025), mainly at the outer top creases and inside heal area. I was bummed, I loved those shoes.. So this year I decided to get a new pair of the same model, however they have been updated to the, "speedcross 6 gtx" and they are fnckin' awesome! Superb comfort with a fantastic trail grippin' tread. The best hiking/trail shoe.

If You Need To "Get A Grip" These Are For You.

These trail runners are very comfortable and provide a great grip on rocky and even wet surfaces. The Goretex fabric keeps my feet dry in wet conditions and yet breathe to expel sweat. I love these shoes!

Increase The Life Span!

I love these shoes, but please increase there life span/ durability of the outer sole. I know they are a mud/trail only shoe, but sometimes to get to the trail you have to run on roads. This applies to all/most Speedcross shoes.

I expected these to be clunky from the photos, but they are lighter and springier than I had hoped. The goretex did a good job of keeping the water out in a few races with slushy snow, mud and some puddles. I caught the lugs that stick out in the front and almost tripped a few times but that’s just me, and they are useful for traction when going uphill in mud and snow.
