Buying Them Again
I have had a pair of these for 6 years. I have used them to hike to multiple locations. Peru, Colorado, Montana, Utah, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and Maine. Doesn't matter the terrain they are great shoes. I love the easy to secure laces and the traction has been excellent. If I don't need ankle support and these are my go to. I am buying a second pair because I have worn them out 7 years later.

Poor Design Of Tongue
The redesign of the tongue results in it shifting to the side and exposing the sock halfway down. Very disappointing.

Super Comfortable
These shoes are really comfortable. I’ve only had them for about a month and a half and i’ve taken them on 4-5 hikes each being around 10 miles. They’re very comfortable and the grip is amazing. They keep me slipping and falling on steep terrain. They’re very durable as well i’ve taken them in water rocks and mixed terrain. I would recommend these shoes but I think the gortex is better to keep the water out.

Great Shoe. Comfy Once Broke In.
Durable. Comfortable. Grippy. Wish the tread lasted longer but I got 2 solid years. Almost 800 miles. I'd buy again

Wear Them Anywhere
I have been wearing Salomon hiking shoes for several years now. I hike/walk over 2000 miles each year. The shoes have seen me through the Camino and most hikes except the most challenging (have Salomon hiking boots for those). I like the "no tie" feature. I also feel very "safe" in those shoes. Slipping is very rare which is very very important to me as I am a "senior" hiker. I replace the shoes about every six months. They are my everyday, go anywhere shoes. Rarely wear "dress" shoes.
