So Comfortable

Really enjoying this new hiking show. My feet stay stable in rocky hiking conditions. Very comfortable.

Absolutely Great Shoe

Wanted a walking shoe for winter and on day one did a 4 mile walk. No break in needed. Absolutely great shoe. So much so, I bought a second pair. You know - if you find something you like, better get a back up or you will be sorry when it wears out.

Do Not Buy, Falls Apart

Owned about 6 months, wore 5 times. Only camping trip, no hikes. Metal shoelace holder broke off and then just tore at ankle.

Wide Toe Box Very Comfortable

these boots feel amazing. no toe rubbing, great support but paired with ultimate flexibility and movement where it matters. tried so many pairs of boots that hurt my feet and ankles but these felt amazing from the moment i put them on. THE PERFECT BOOT

Poor Quality And No Backing By Salomon

seams failed within 2 years and Salomon won't replace, calling that normal wear and tear. Garbage. Check out Vasque, their products hold up and management supports their customers.

Best Boots, Worst Manufacturing

These are my absolute favorite hiking shoes ever. They fit perfectly, are lightweight, and have great grip. Unfortunately they have the worst manufacturing and assembly. After the first pair I bought busted holes in the top, I thought it was a one-off thing. But after buying two more pairs and having the same thing occur, I am really disappointed. There are huge holes that form after just a few months of wearing them. This is from a couple backpacking trips and local hiking, not a thru trail or anything. You can tell that Salomon went really cheap and dirty with the manufacturing and it sucks.

First On Impression Is Great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these a few weeks ago and have yet to try them too much outdoors because of inclement weather, but they seem well made. I only wish they had the quick laces, but that's a relatively small issue. I will update asbi get more use out of these.

I love the shoes, but it seems that the right shoe is not Seated correctly. The right shoe makes some noise with each step

Very Comfortable, Light Weight But Sturdy Boots!

Use these off trails with a heavy pack in mountainous areas of Montana and loved them. They are very comfortable and still sturdy enough. They aren’t super waterproof but that makes them breathable. Great summer to fall, responsive hikers!

I Love The Fit And Color Scheme And Shoelaces.

I really like the fit of these shoes because I have a high arch, wide foot and narrow ankle.

Purchased 2 Pairs And We Wish We Hadn't

definitely comfortable, horrible grip & mostly waterproof. There is one part on the shoe that feels it is not very waterproof & a little moisture came through the shoe but the grip is the biggest concern. These shoes are not sustainable for true hiking on rugged terrain. They have to soft of a grip, the treads are too giving & as a result they did not provide safe footing on many of the trails we were on this summer. Unfortunately these shoes are not what we expected and a replacement shoe had to be purchased for our own safety on the trails just 3 weeks after purchasing these .

Disappointing At Best…

Off the bat — pluses for these boots are that they are stylish and comfortable. If you need a good pair of sneakers that look like hiking boots, these will be perfect. But don’t expect much from them beyond that. I’ve been a huge Salomon fan for years, and have owned and happily worn through many of your hiking boots. As a low-impact, daily hiker living in the Northeast, this pair of boots is regrettably the worst I’ve ever owned. The boots hold mud and grass/leaf debris for days, and it needs to manually be picked/washed off (never a problem in the past). I bought these boots in August, and I’ve worn them daily for a 3-4 mile hike through mostly farmland/dewy grass and woods. Water never breached over the top of the boots, but the inside already smells terrible, and in the past week a 3-mile grassy/dewy hike is leaving me with wet socks b/c water is permeating the Gore-Tex. Overall, I’m really disappointed, as Salomon is a brand I’ve come to trust for sturdiness and longevity.
