Wrote this pair for about two years. Wore them to a big bonfire party. A big ash landed on top. Burnt right through the goretex top. Tragic. Attached pic of me giving my dogs treats in the shoes.

These Shoes Allow Me To Go The Distance.

I love that they are never tight. This is my eighth pair of the same kind of shoe. The Gore-Tex is incredible. I’ve ran in snow, mud and and through creeks and I stay pretty solid. I hike about six days out of the week and these shoes are incredible. Only feature I would fix is the lace up needs to be more secure my first pair was I think cross the OG and that lace up was perfect. So perhaps just a manufacturer error. Other than that, I’d give this a nine out of 10 incredible shoe for trail running.

The Design Has Changed

I have been buying Salomon’s since 2017 and have had several pairs of the SpeedCross 6. The recent pair that I purchased does not have same fit. In addition, there is color variation from left shoe and right. Like they were made in different lots or batches. The heel tab is more narrow and higher which results in it folding when I put the new shoes on.

Hiking And Golf, Yep!

Salomons have been the shoes I took to CO to get me up to the views and to hike MI's beautiful Lake Superior rocky coastline. AND, these are my favorite winter shoes for everyday/ ANY day just getting around. But WAIT, there's more! For rocky, hilly, sometimes wet and slimey Greywalls Golf Course, these are the BEST golf shoes ever. Some of my friends say, whoa to these luggy, "ugly" shoes, but I'm the one up on the rocks gettin their lost balls. Moreover, these are the best everything shoe for slippery, rocky terrain I've every had. They grip like they're glued, protective and they last! I wear 7.5 in the summer, but my winter Salomons are size 8, for bigger socks.
