When I received this umbrella in the mail it looked fine until putting it together it was broken.

What a well-made, sturdy. umbrella! It is large enough to shade two people easily. I really like to blue color and it seemed that it would heavy enough and sturdy enough that the ocean wind wouldn't be a problem. I returned it only because it was larger than I wanted for one person. Otherwise, this is a great umbrella.

Unsafe!

Unsafe! We bought this specifically because of the auger on the bottom to ensure the umbrella would not blow away. The clip that holds the top in place is defective and the top of the umbrella blew down the beach and hit another bather! We will be returning today!
