The Saris® Fluid 2 Smart Equipped Bike Trainer is the ideal setup for budget-conscious athletes that want to join fun, virtual communities without a traditional smart trainer. It’s easy to connect with other athletes by installing the magnetless speed sensor on the rear wheel of your bike once mounting it to the Fluid 2 trainer. You’ll be connected and ready to sweat!

  • This trainer is designed to fit common road and mountain bike frames with included steel quick release skewer and has three settings for rear dropout spacing: 120mm, 130mm and 135mm.

Well Built, Intelligently Designed, Super Smooth

This is a great trainer. It is made in the USA and the build quality is outstanding. Add to that, the unit is designed to be easy to assemble and simple to use. Clamping the bike in to the unit is a simple one motion process and the bike is firmly held. The wheel tension knob is genius! Just turn it until it clicks and you have the correct pressure on your tire. I have owned other fluid trainers, but this has to be the smoothest and most consistent I have ever used. It truly provides linear resistance that gets more challenging as your speed increases. I have not tried it with the Saris training tire yet, but the noise level with a standard road tire was minimal. The included speed sensor works well and paired immediately with the Rouvy app on my iPhone. I did have some issues mounting the sensor because the inside width of my rear hub is pretty narrow. Once I figured out how to best mount it on my wheel, I had no issues.
