Bouncy But Not Responsive
This is my first pair of carbon plated super shoes. I've had and still have Kinvaras for road and Peregrines for trail. I find the fit is similar to the other models of Saucony which is great. They are comfortable. But I feel the softness of the sole makes it hard to have a good propulsion and short contact time for a fast run, which is what the shoe is for. The larger drop of the shoe also contributes to this. The shoe might be more suited for people that are heel strikers where they would gain from the rocking effect of the sole. I feel these Endorphin Pros are less suited for midfoot or forefoot strikers that want to push forward as close to contact time as possible. I had purchased these shoes to help me get to a sub-19min 5k. I might end up relying on my Kinvaras for this because of their stiffer sole and smaller drop.

Amazing feel and performance, super stable compared to the elite 2, gotta wait to decide about durability.

Very Good - But The Fabric Doesn't Last
These are excellent and comfortable running shoes - this is my third pair. I run 25 - 40 km/week, and no injury or pain issues. The only critic that I have is that the fabric is not resistant, it shreds quite rapidly - this needs to be improved. Once in a while, they get on sale and affordable.

Ok, But Was Expecting A Different Type Of Shoe.
My first pair of Saucony was the Endorphin shift. It was my favorite pair of running shoes since i started 3 years ago. I havent had a chance to buy a Saucony since then. I have been using various shoes but Asics Novablasts was the close 2nd to the Endorphin shifts. I was expecting a similar shoe when I researched which saucony to use. I got these last month but saved the maiden run until a vacation in Hawaii. Unfortunately, the shoes were.not what i expected and i ran quite a bit slower than normal. I dismissed it as possibly the heat of the islands, but when i got back to Canada, i confirmed the shoes were not what i expected. They do not have the same cushioning and support that the shifts did. They are very light and feel ok, but i was hoping that i would get more of an explosive propulsion that i was used to with the shifts.
