The energy return is fantastic. And overall I really enjoy this shoe, BUT it's too wide for my foot.

I bought these about a month ago, used them about 10 times but they felt a little stiff! Overall felt good for speed but not for longer daily trainers!

I purchased the Boston Endorphin Speed 5 shoes for use during my preparation for the 130th Running of Boston this past April. This was a very important run for me as it was a tribute to my late father who ran it exactly 50 years prior in 1976. I used the Saucony Endorphin Speed 5 for nearly all of my tempo and recovery runs. By now I have over 700 miles on these and they still have "life" left in them. While I have purchased a replacement pair as I get set for Chicago Marathon in 6 weeks, I still get my Boston pair out for some treadmill runs, or if I am doing anything on gravel or other dirty/wet environments. I am a flat-footed who has a tendency to pronate and a heel/mid-foot strike runner for reference. I will also say compared to other shoe styles, also in the Saucony lineup, my feet always feel great after a run. Picking the right shoe for the right job is critical and I am happy that I have found these shoes for this purpose.
This was my 3rd pair of Endorphin Speed 5 since October '25. I find the Speed 5 much better than the Speed 4 in terms of slip in comfort, feel of the shoe on the foot, and performance when running. The PWRRUN PB is tuned nicely and the nylon plate helps with toe off. I have also put in 300 miles on my Endorphin Azuras but find the Speed 5 better for my running stride and overall running feel so I'll stick with the Speed 5. It's also great that the stack height of the Speed 5 isn't huge like a lot of shoes out there. The weight of the Speed 5 is good, too. The shoe is light, upper breathes well, can get into and out of shoe fast, and the color options are plentiful.

Put 80 miles on it it’s a really good shoe, I’m still new to running so I haven’t tried a million different shoes but so far out of the few of had these ones were awesome. Highly recommend for anyone trying to get faster times without killing your feet with race specific shoes. Currently training for Air Force Special Warfare.

This is my second pair of Endorphin Speed 5. Moved to this shoe with the Endorphin Speed 4. Absolutely great daily trainer. I have narrow foot and shoe feels great. In addition, great responsiveness. Finally, I put over 500 miles on my first endorphin speed 5 shoes. Still wear them for long walks.
Love this shoe as a trainer. My orthotics fit well and it feels stable and sure footed. Definitely feel some energy return from the plate, but not to the level of a racing shoe. It does squeek, which doesn't bother me for running, but I don't wear the shoes to walk around much after they are retired.

Great shoe but they seem to fit a bit small? Sticking with my regular size regardless

Slight Slip feeling at faster pace could use a better foam and more of it

Endorphin speed 5 is my workhorse , 700+ miles X 3 pairs. just as speed4 , not a fan of speed 3 , and started with speed 2 , I’ve run well past 600-700 miles on each iteration .

They are not wide at all. Actually feel narrower than my other standard width pair. Besides that great shoe. Super breathable and light weight.

My fave for tempo runs and 10ks. Very stable and highly responsive.

So good. Been using for hyrox classes and they’re great.

I bought these about a month ago now and I enjoy these on my speed workouts and even on easy runs. Just overall shoe that provides comfort and stability for most of all my runs.
