Dicks Sent Wrong Size , Again

Dicks sent size 12.5 in a size 13 box ,3rd order of shoes that they biffed , never on my orders , it’s always a birthday present that gets delivered to a family member embarrassing me , one star cause it was to tight lol

Solid

As someone who owns and has Triumph 20 (2 pairs), Ride 17 and Endorphin Speed 4, this is a heavier max cushion shoe. I thought the Triumph 20 was the most versatile but the Hurricane, despite weighing more than Ride 17, feels bouncier.

Not For Me

Bought these 3 weeks ago, first wore running for 5km and had blisters on the back of my heel and arch of my foot. Did 2 more runs with bandaids and seemed a little better. Blisters were heel after another week and attempting another 5km blisters were back, have other sauconys II wore first run of 13km with no issue. Wish I could return.

Nicely Cushioned Max Stack Trainer

Did a first run in this on tired legs and they did their job to minimize impact to my joints. This shoe is comfortable but not quite as soft as Asics Nimbus 27. There is no midsole sink in effect, but this Power run PB formulation is even more compliant than the midsole on the Ride 18. The drop is also far more middle of the road than the Glycerin Max which will definitely work you calves more if under trained for the lower drop. Lastly, it's not as bouncy as either the Brooks or Puma MagMax, but at current discounts the Hurricane is a very competitive shoe. Build quality feels good, but I will know that I had to go with an 11 vs normal 10.5 in all the other shoes I mentions. I have a slender, not narrow foot so fit in most shoes, but halfing enough room in the toe box is critical for me and the length runs a little short on the Hurricane. It's the same for the Endorphin Speed 4 and Adizero SL2 to offer other shoes I size up in as well. The shoe is heavy as an all around trainer, but is not out of line with the max stack shoe segment. The is a slow run cruiser or recovery run use for me.

Better Than Expected

As tempus user I was skeptical of the weight and perhaps that the shoe would overcorrect. Both are a complete non issue and running in these are a joy the powerrunpb is exquisite. Not for tempo sessions but I can hit 10k pace in these no problem. I'm a lighter runner topping out at 135lbs
