Disappointing; Lacks Cushioning

I don't know how this shoe is considering a running shoe when there is little to no cushioning. I bought this shoe to run on a treadmill and on pavement, but given my experience with this shoe, I won't be using it for pavement running at all. The fit is good, especially around the ankles for support, but what an absolute disappointment that this running shoe has no cushioning in the sole. What a waste of money.
