Not A Good Fit For Me

I was very excited for these pairs as my race shoes for my upcoming marathon as I already have and love my Saucony Ride 17s. However after 3 short runs I have to give up on them as on each run my middle 3 toes on both feet were numbing after a while. I tried different socks, loosened the ties but no help :( They otherwise feel very light and help with speed but with the numbness being an issue on a 5K run I can’t imagine wearing them for the marathon.

Perfect Combo Of Support And Spring

These shoes are perfect for speed and stability. I tried the Elite 2 of the same line and there was no stability IMO. I felt like I could twist an ankle at each turn, so I switched them for the pro 4 and so happy I did. They are still very springy, but offer the support to confidently run corners and off curbs.

Consistent Responsiveness

I've put about 720 miles on one pair of Pro4's this year. The stitching around the arches started to split around 700 miles, but they still feel great to run in as a daily trainer. I don't have a pair of 3's to compare to, but did find them more stable than the 2's out of the box. Overall very happy with the shoe and recently purchased another pair to start breaking in.
