Does Not Get Hot

Relatively easy to set up. Red lights are just two bars on the door of the sauna. I was hoping the red light was surrounding the sauna. My sauna only gets up to 113 to 117. Have never seen a higher number despite following all the directions and leaving it on for an extended period of time.

Malfunction Right Out Of Box

I purchased this unit and Dicks did an excellent job of managing my order with a speedy and on time delivery. The reason for the one star review is for Saunabox company. 1. The unit did not work right out of the box. Remote control would not, and will not pair to the controller, without it there is no other way to control it. 2. The clear door window appears to be too big, possible leak point. 3. The dotted seams that mates the material allows light to pass through. Not sure if it's on purpose but it's not uniform and consistent so it doesn't appear to be on purpose.

Not Again

Bought this Feb 16, returned it Feb 28. Kept getting a E 1 error. You too will get a E 1 error. When you get this E 1 error you won't be able to use this sauna. When it doesn't' have an E 1 error it works good. I would say it works great but the temperature does not get over 130 degrees. EVER. I would not purchase this again. But good luck to you. And FYI when I did get the E 1 error I tried literally everything including contacting saunabox customer service directly.

Highly Recommend

Works as advertised! I've reached out to customer service and few times with questions and they've always answered within 48 hrs. Unit preheat to 160 in about 30 minutes. When I get in the temperature usually drops and hovers around 150 for my entire session. Plenty hot for me. Also Im 6'5" and I fit in it

Exactly What I Wanted

Bought this instead of a large wood one & was worried it wouldn’t live up to the descriptions. Everything has worked perfectly & i’m very happy with my purchase.

We Love It!

We have had our Pulse Pro for just over 2 weeks now and have literally sat in it every day. Set up was "fairly" easy. We have not been able to get the temperature to the advertised 160 degrees. But have gotten it up to 150 by letting it warm up longer than the recommended time. The insulation in the walls is not effecient. You can feel the heat coming off the sauna if you touch it from the outside. We have also found that draping towels around the outside from the top allows the sauna to heat up faster and stay hotter by better insulating the walls. Keep in mind, if the temperature reads 150 after heating up, it will drop considerably when you open the doors to enter. So we have really only been able to sit with the temp between 130-140, which is PLENTY hot enough to produce a very deep sweat within the first 5 minutes. The window is great, too. We have placed the sauna in a back room with a TV mounted on the wall and are able to pass the time watching our favorite movies or shows. The only other issue I have is with the seat. It is comfortable enough, but the shape of the chair does not work well with the shape of the sauna. It will only go back so far. And a tall guy like me has very little leg room. Meaning my knees are basically up against the infrared panels on either side of the door. We are planning on purchasing a triangular teak wood seat that we can push further into the back corner. I will finally add that within the first 10 days, the red light therapy bars stopped working. After some investigating, I found that one of the prongs on the AC/DC adaptor had somehow broken off. Contacted SaunaBox thru email and they are sending me a complete new light system, free of charge. But overall, it has been a great purchase.

Great Product

Gets up to about 140 degrees. Easy to put together and really gives a good sweat. We use it all the time.

False Advertising

This sauna is advertised to reach 170°, this is false. I have used this device approximately 20 times, and it is unable to heat higher than 129°. I confirmed the temperature was accurate with multiple external thermometers. Customer service was nonexistent and would not refund my purchase. The device simply does not perform as advertised. Buyer beware.

Good Buy!

I bought this a few weeks ago and have it used it 3-5x a week. I am very happy with it! The price was right and I sweat, although I haven't seen the temp go up to the advertised 145. It was easy to put together by myself. It's not luxurious, but gets the job done.

Reasonably Priced Sauna

We just wanted an easy way to sauna and this fits the bill. Easy to assemble. It takes a little to warm up to 150 or so (25 minutes) but not too bad. The remote temperature isn't accurate but we put an actual thermometer inside. I wish it was slightly bigger because it is a little tight for a 6'0" guy but not terrible. My wife doesn't mind it at all. Decent price point for a home sauna without renovating your house

Works Great, Easy Setup

Bought this item a few weeks ago. It works great. In a cold basement, it takes 20-30 minutes to get desired temperature. It would be much quicker in a warmer part of the house. Set up wasn't too bad. Overall, recommend if you want to try a sauna without spending $2k and hiring an electrician.

I have this sauna and really like it. I didn’t experience any strong smells like others have said. It heats up pretty quickly and I sweat a lot. My only problem is that sometimes the remote disconnects and I have to reconnect it.

Saunabox Pulse Pro

Do not buy! Unfortunately I had to return. Sauna came quickly, but all did not work out of the box. Customer service for Saunabox is horrible. I don't trust the quality. Check out BBB and you will see. Dick's support did try to help, but was told just to send back.

Overwhelming Plastic Smells

For a health conscious product, the plastic frame they use put out a lot of VOCs. Smells very heavily of plastics, even before heating up the sauna. I wiped the frame with a moist towel - the towel smells awful, so it defintely did something. Unfortunately, the frame still smells awful. Only time will tell if the smell will ultimately fade, but in the meantime, it's practically unusable. I do not recommend this. I definitely don't recommend this product.

Strong Odor And No Customer Support — Disappointed With Saunabox Pulse Pro

I really wanted to love this sauna, but my experience has been terrible. Right out of the box, the entire unit smelled strongly of plastic and chemicals when heated. I followed all the setup steps and even ran multiple “burn-in” sessions with full ventilation, but the odor never went away. I tested the air quality with a formaldehyde/VOC meter, and the readings were well above safe indoor levels (0.20 mg/m³ HCHO and 0.77 mg/m³ VOC). That’s not just unpleasant — it’s concerning for health and safety. I contacted SaunaBox customer service immediately with the results and details, but it’s been three days with no reply. For a product in this price range, that’s unacceptable. The concept is great, but the materials, smell, and lack of support completely ruin it. I can’t recommend this product until the company addresses the off-gassing issue and stands behind their customers. Pros: heats up quickly, easy to set up Cons: strong chemical odor, poor customer service, possible safety issue
