Pop Warner Popular - Light And Great Adjustability

Purchased for my son's last year of PW, hoping to continue using into HS. He loves the style, has not yet played in it, but fits well and loves the aesthetics. The size guide seemed to be a little off. I work in PW on equipment, most familiar with Riddell, and we measured as a large, but he's definitely a medium. We tried both sizes and returned the L after trying thicker pads etc. The helmets come with thicker cheek and top pads. This model does not come with an inflatable insert, but they are available. The snaps are a little cumbersome (esp v the Riddell ratchets) but also nice that all 4 points can be removed/loosened in a flash/on the field. Overall, happy so far, and my son loves having something different than the rest. Older brother may be a little jealous as he bought a Riddell Speedflex for HS and is now coveting the slightly lighter weight (perception?) F7 v2.
