I bought this plate for my son because it was the most affordable and it works good. I don't think it's necessary to spend 40 when this plate does the job.

Great Back Plate
My son “needed” this for football. Glad I got it. It’s saved him already at RB. Several times I’ve seen kids helmets go straight into it, and he has yet to complain about being hit in the lower back. Great passing and excellent price.

Not sure if I missed it, but I thought this would have been for youth, but it is for adults. other than that, it looks good. I'll see if my nephew likes it.
