A rib protector is designed to help provide maximum protection for the torso, ribcage and lower back. Look for a rib protector that can be easily adjusted for a comfortable fit. Some styles feature removable rib pads, so just the back protection is utilized.
Football back plates are designed with foam padding that's enclosed in a plastic shell.
