Schwinn Bike

It was a bit challenging to put together, but we’re really looking forward to using it!

Great Product But Issues With Heart Rate Monitor

All advertised options are accurate except heart rate display inaccurate and erratic . registers in 200 rate and high 100's

I Would Bury This Product Again

I wore out my original Schwinn of 30 years . Ride 1-2 times/ week in winter more for at least 45 minutes. I am looking forward to another 30 years. Ride is smooth and comfortable. Seat ventilation is a nice upgrade.

Good Bike At The Price -- Just One Minor Annoyance

This is our second Schwinn 230. The last one worked for ten years and then parts started to break, making it not worth trying to get it repaired. (No complaints -- 10 years perfectly reasonable for a bike at this price level.) My only complaint about this one is that when they "improved" the older version, they replaced the lighted display with a LCD -- which is NOT mentioned on the Website.

Very Satisfied

Use for low impact exercise for my bad knees and hip.

Second Piece Of Shwinn Equipment I Own

The only downside was that the pedals are too close to where they attach to the bike so when pedaling my heels would hit. I had to add a stack of washers to bring the pedal out far enough to stop my heels from hitting.

Reasonable Product At A Reasonable Price

Using this for increased cardiovascular workout as my strength improves. Unfortunately the heart rate monitor is not reliable - going up to 250 and other crazy numbers when my finger-tip oximeter is at 92. So there's some kind of glitch there. It's not HUGE - so it fits nicely in the Laundry room.

Seems To Be Well Made With Slight Issues

The built in Programs are nice & make it easy to select one that fits your energy level and/or fitness level. Have not tried to use the Manual mode. The built-in heart monitor doesn't work well (compared to FitBit data & other heart rate info from other equipment).

I Am Very Pleased With This Exercise Bike.

I am building strength in my legs and overall health is better.

It's Ok

I've been using the bike a few times a week for about a month now. About every 15 seconds I have to shift back in the seat because I just keep sliding forward. But my biggest complaint, is that the default levels are actually very hard and I basically find myself turning it to one of the lowest levels. I replaced another Schwinn recumbent with this one and this one just seems to be a lot more stiff. My only other complaints are that the display is to dim, and when the workout is done, there is no audible signal, so if you are reading a book or watching something on your phone, which covers the display, you never know that you finished
