Amazing When It Works

I bought this bike about 4 months ago with the idea of using it to ride to work and back. My workplace is a simple 5 mile commute on dedicated bike trails with very little traffic, and the weather here is nice enough year-round that you can ride a bike outside almost every day. The bike has good speed to it and has no issues getting up hills and other obstacles. However, I have had 5 rear tire deflations which are nearly impossible to predict and this has significantly derailed my work plans. In a span of two weeks, I've had 3 of these deflations and I'm fed up with it. I can't see every tiny speck of glass or metal on the roads, and hitting just one of these is enough to make the tire deflate immediately. I luckily have not ran into this issue while crossing a street or going through a different intersection, but I've tested my patience enough with this and will need to return the bike to get a different one that isn't so fragile. For context I am 5'9" and 180 lbs, and even at that size I need to sit near the back of the seat almost right over the rear wheel. The weight is not well distributed on this bike which is why I've had zero issues with the front wheel. I understand that this is "compact" and "made for children" but these are some serious design flaws. A quick glance at most bikes and you will clearly see that the middle of the frame handles the rider's weight and not the seat directly over the rear tire. I wish I could recommend this bike because me and my friends have had some very fun rides on it. It's just that I've never had a single other blowout in over 20 years of riding different bikes in every imaginable terrain all around the world. I cannot recommend this for any adult since I've spent more time fixing it than I should ever need to. It would probably work much better for young and small children, stay away otherwise and get a larger bike.

Good Brakes

I bought the hurricane a couple weeks back and it was so good it saved me from death and I slammed the fabulous brakes and didn’t go off the hill in front of me

6'0 200lbs Guys Opinion

I bought two for my girlfriend and I and we have had a blast after a month, for reference I am 6'0 200 lbs and we have yet to completely kill the battery from a full charge. We went up insanely big hills and all around town approximately 10 miles or riding. I used pedal assist and she used just the throttle. Yes it's not the most powerful or the fastest but it is capable of doing everything you could want it to do.

Horrible Range

I got my bike about 11 months ago but theres just one problem with it. The range, the website may say 30 miles but your only getting 7-10 miles before needing to charge.

Do Not Buy

DO NOT BUY!!! I bought this for my son less than 3 months ago and I had to bring it to the repair shop for issues 4 times. Now the charger stopped working, and there is no replacement charger or battery available, not even from Schwinn. I now, not even 3 months later, have a $650 bike that is worth nothing.
