Rated 1 out of 5 by from Expiration date on these Seems to be an expiration date on these. I went through two in a month and half period. First one the bottom bracket all but locked up, manufacturer defect. The second one I have no idea what was wrong because I didn't even ask I just returned and got a real bike. The chain jumped off of the primary second gear clear to the frame, causing me to lose my balance and eventually over the handlebars. Horrible quality control!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good bike at a great price VERY happy with the bike. Haven't owned a Schwinn since I was a kid, but I like things Made in America. Assembly was easy, and the bike is perfect for my tall 16 year old boy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Super Disappointed I have to say this will be the first and last time I order a bike online here. When I first get the bike I come to find I'm missing both the pedals and the quick release portion of the axel for the front wheel. I contact their customer support line and the parts are shipped to me within three days which was great. Now, I have the parts, pedals go on fine. I go to attach the front wheel and not only is the axel so uneven there's no preventing the tire from wobbling and rubbing against the brakes unless I practically remove them, it appears the nuts in the wheel were driven in to the casing with the ball bearing so hard that they've started to come out. Now I have to hope that Dicks will send me an entire new front wheel to fix the issue or pay to get a brand new bike fixed at a local bike whole.I was so excited to have a bike for the first time in over 10 years again and I'm nothing but frustrated to put it lightly. If Dicks can somehow remedy the situation I would appreciate it but at this point buying a bike through you is an abysmal process at best.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from What a difference, good customer service goes a long way! We got the bike on sale, which was a plus. Due to time constraints we ordered online but was sure what size to choose. So I called the nearest store and the sales associate guided us the whole way. I asked if it was possible to switch the handle bars out for a different variety, he explained that was a simple matter and just bring the bike in and they'd take care of the rest. How awesome is that!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Bike. Great Price I bought a bike (Schwinn 700c)for my grandson for Christmas. He lives in the country near a small town, so this particular bike which will allow him to ride gravel paths and cement streets should be perfect. It's a beautiful bike. Thanks to various promotionals, I got a very good price on it online. Plus, by taking it into a physical store, I got free assembly. Which is where the problem began. I had to drive 75 miles to get to a store. I called to make sure it could be put together the same day so I would not have to make 2 trips through a very congested area. I was assured it would be done in a few hours. When I got to the store, the story changed. I was told there was no guarantee it would be finished same day. The technician assembling the bike was backlogged, but the team leader said the company would do the best it could for me. I waited, had lunch, and called back in. A young lady told me that the bike would not be finished today, no way, no how. I returned home. When I got home, the store called to say the bike was ready. I drove back (same day) through miserable rush hour traffic. The bike was very competently assembled. The story I got from the sales person who helped me complete checkout was that the technician was told that my bike was a priority and no matter what, it needed to be done that day. To sum up, great bike, great price, competent assembly, outstanding service by team leader and technician, but poor knowledge of store operations and even worse communication skills by telephone personnel. It seems a shame to downgrade a rating for this, but it cost me time and money and a miserable few hours in traffic. All of which could have been avoided with improved store management.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rekindled My Love of Bike Riding I purchased this to replace a vintage Schwinn...Have been using it to bike 15-20 miles a day. It handles well, is comfortable, stylish (get looks on the lakeshore trail), and quick. For the price, I wouldn't look any further. I'm excited to get it out on some stone trails to see how it handles and test the other side of the hybrid!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible Ride! I really love the versatility of this bike. Handles so well on gravel roads and is very fluid on the sidewalk. So happy I made this purchase!
