Brakes Did Not Work

Bought the bike and found out that the brakes that did not work.Took the bike back and waited 2 weeks and no one fixed the problem, so I asked for my money back. Not buying a bike from dicks again.

Bike Put Together So Badly Almost Killed My Kid

Bought the firehawk from dick's in tustin, ca. as we made our way to the front door, the left paddle fell off; didn't even make it to the parking lot. thinking it was no big deal, i screwed it on my self. two days later right sided training wheel fell off while my son was riding the bike; talk about almost killing a kid!!!

Perfect For Little Bodies

This 18" bike is great for children just not tall enough for the 20". It is pricey, but it makes a world of difference for the ease of ride for my son. Everything seems to be made for small hands and bodies. He loves that the bar is lower in the center making it easier for him to mount and unmount the bike. It is also a little lighter than other bikes so it took less time for him to adjust to the larger bike. The only problem we had so far was that the seat became loose a couple of times. Other than that, we're all smiles.

Perfect For Us

I bought this bike for our tall 4 year old. It took about 3 months but he LOVES it. Had and issue with the front wheel and it was promptly fixed for free. The assembly was free as well. I am ready to buy my 3rd childrens bike from Dicks. Highly recommend. I bought my 5 year old daughter's bike there and will be buying my 2 year old son's bike there too.

Fun Bike!

Son learned to ride with no training wheels on this bike. I love the hand brakes and almost wish it didn’t have a pedal brake to save weight. But it’s not too heavy and well made. Tires are good. Did contactless pick up at the beginning of the pandemic and Dicks handled it well. It costs more than other dept store kids bikes, and less than high end kids bikes, but if you can spend more on a bike it’s always worth it. The geometry is good and can grow with the child. Highly recommended for a mid range kids bike!
