If You Want A Bike You Can't Ride, This Is The One For You!

If you are wondering whether or not you should buy this bike, let this review be your answer: No, do not buy this bike. Unless of course, you want a bike that you can't ride. I ordered this bike in late April, and it is still unassembled in my basement. Why you ask? It came with a dented fly wheel. In this condition, the bike simply cannot even glide for a full rotation because it gets caught. How am I to ride that?

Awesome Quality Bike

Legendary Schwinn Quality shines true with this bike. It’s very well built and up to the task however light or heavy you wish your workout to be. Out of the box, the bike is easy to assemble with all necessary tools included. I like that the bike is fully adjustable, allowing me to tailor it specifically to the size of my body. Really, it’s a joy to use with simple well placed controls. I really like the area to place your phone or tablet that connects wirelessly to the simple and elegant bike computer. My device stays in place sure and steady while I pedal my heart out. While the bike is built to be rugged and dependable, it will wear me out long before I ever do it. Schwinn backs this up with their fine factory backed warranty. For those who prefer to perform their own repairs beyond the warranty period, Schwinn conveniently provides the maintenance manual free on their website. This bike may not be the best or fanciest bike out there on the market, but for the value and attributes it does have suits me just fine. It will allow me to do all of the workouts I am up to doing while serving me well. Please note: I’ve dropped my rating by one star because of the JRNY workout software application under the same company umbrella, Johnson Health Technology. The software wasn’t written specifically for this bike according to JRNY technical support so I uncovered a bug in the software. If you wish your pedal resistance average to be tabulated in your workout metrics you will be disappointed. Average resistance always displays at 0 no matter the level that you dial it in at. More of a disappointment rather than a deal breaker.
