Customer Service At Dicks

I purchased a bike a couple weeks ago. There were some adjustments that needed to be made after I brought it home. I didn’t know how to make those adjustments so I came into the store and spoke to Judy Bob and several associates at the service desk, all who were The definition of caring and compassionate customer care. Judy being the leader in the store has obviously spent time teaching these associates the importance of building relationships and in this case friendships with customers that are sure to be coming back to give them their business.

Horrible Experience!

I don't know if we had a bad bike or the people at Dicks messed it up but we have had nonstop issues with this bike since purchasing it for my son in October. Upon bringing it home the handlebars came out as he was riding it which caused him to have an accident. We took it back and the people at Dick's "fixed it". Then the chain kept coming off. We didn't have a change to test it out during the Winter and once we did we took it to be fixed again and now the front bearings are making a grinding sound. I called Dicks about a refund or in store credit as it is a very expensive bike. Of course they weren't helpful and said it is out of warranty. I am pretty sure the people at Dicks caused a lot of these issues by not fixing them right. Extremely frustrating experience.

A True Classic Cruiser Schwinn

It brought a problem with the brakes that I was able to solve, but I really like the paint and the details. The seat is nice but it lacks a bit of padding, it is a bit heavy and slow. but I could make it more comfortable and lighter by adjusting the saddle and the handlebar post, you can also adjust the sprockets of the saddle, a classic

Great Quality Bike

Easy to ride, very comfortable seat! I recommend this bike to anyone looking for comfort and ease of riding

Not Durable

On the drive home already certain adjustments (brakes, seat, and reflector replaced when it broke off during mechanic’s prep) loosened to produce friction firing the ride, require d a return to mechanic to smooth & readjust brakes, fender, seat, and to true-round the wheels and spokes. A bike this fragile isn’t the greatest value for riding on streets of trails in this part of the country

Lemon..buy The Warranty If Purchasing!

I bought this bike 1st week of June and have had 6 flat rear tires in 6 weeks! I've never purchased a warranty on a bike because I have never had an issue with a bike like this. Spent $100 on inner tube/stem/air valve repairs so far. Beautiful looking bike, just want the reassurance that I will not have to call to be picked up because of a flat tire!

Nice Bike

I’ve only had it out a couple of times. The seat is the most uncomfortable seat ever.

Just Like The One I Had As A Kid!!

This is the exact replica i had as a teen. Love it!! Got mine for 299!!

Every Bike Scratched

I’ve tried three times to get this bike and each time the bike has had a giant scratch on the frame. These aren’t minor, superficial scratches either. They’re big gouges that will lead to rusting, quickly. Going to give up and try another brand.

Great Purchase

My wife and I gave each other Schwinn bikes from Dick's for Christmas. Neither of us had ridden a bike for years. Now we ride them all over our community. they are very comfortable to ride, shift gears easily, and are easy to steer. Also they are easy to accessorize. I added a pet basket, rear carrier, phone holder and lights with no problem

Poor Quality Parts

Due to the recent bike shortage, this was the only bike that I could find. The sales lady told me a had 24 hours to return it if unhappy. I found it very noisy and hard to peddle. I also had to loosen the bakes up so they would not rub. I called the store to arrange the return and was told they wouldn’t take it back. He did offer to fix it if I brought it in. I’ve owned a lot of bikes and this bike is the poorest quality that I’ve ever had.

Great Looking Bike

So far this bike has been great, it is comfortable and rides smooth. The only thing that I was disappointed about, was the fact that I got the floor model and unfortunately there were minor scratches that I’m not happy about. I would have given a 5 star rating if it wasn’t for the scratches. Other then that great bike.

Don’t Buy

I had to buy this bike online without seeing it in person .. yes looks nice but looks aren’t everything it’s very cheap parts and everything wasn’t even assembled right and due to dicks lame return policy I couldn’t even return it since I brought it online ...

Imagine Greatness

I’ll admit...I was skeptical at first. I gasped at the price. Here I am, 35 years old with a quandary. Do I buy the Schwinn and see what the high price gets me...or do I get another bike that will have problems for cheap. HUZZAH...I shouted. Or as the youngsters say...YOLO. I bought it. This bike. I got home, took the new girl for a spin around the block, and my...oh...my. This puppy rides smoother than silk on top of a baby’s bottom. Change gears? I might as well sign up for the Tour De France...gear up for mechanical brilliance. One click...gear changed...life changed. Imagine, you...cruising down the street on this bad boy made of steel. Go ahead nosey neighbor...eat your heart out. This baby rides. The seat? Oh the seat...or should I say “ah the seat.” If sitting on a cloud covered with pillows and the scent of grandma’s apple pie intrigue you...sit on this throne. This saddle must have been built by the angels of softness. And the frame....the frame is that of a classic riding machine. Will she go 30 years with me? Can we have that kind of commitment with one another as we take to the road? Well she sure has potential. Happily ever after...til death do we part. So wear a helmet.
