Picked up 2 of these for the boat. Worked out perfectly. Well built and stout with full 360° adjustable.

Strong, Easy To Install, Easy To Remove

Installed on kayak in short time. Locking feature for rod holder is nice. Not super easy to turn but not too difficult either. Plastic seems strong and durable. Rod holder can be pulled out of base without too much effort, but it is secured and isn’t going got come out on its own without being pulled out.

Already Broke

I bought 4 of these.and 1 has already broke.and two others are loose

Buy These, Not The Store Brand

These were well worth the $5 more than the store brand at Dicks. They are solidly built and lock into place firmly with no play. Tried the other ones first, returned for these, more positions to put the rod in to.

Great Rod Holder

This is great for kayak fishing. I have had lots of success with this rod holder. It has kept fish from escaping with my rod!

You've heard it already so I'll keep this short. This is an excellent rod holder and it's priced right around all the others and it's even less money than some inferior products. This is the rod holder I'd recommend to anyone if they needed a rodholder added to a kayak, canoe, boat, etc.

Great For Front End Kayak Fishing!

This is a great product. Only downside is that is doesn't come with hardware. But i went to the lcoal hardaware stroe and spent 3 minutes and $4.25 so all of the hardware and sealant for this product!

Stick With The Best

I know there are plenty of akternatives and knockoffs out there. The scotty is the leader and premium product. The eagle claw, cabelas and others will work for a while but the scotty will last years of hard use. The other brands wear out and tou dont want your rod holder to be the weak point especially pulling planer boards, dipsies and deep diving olugs. The ironic thing is they arent even any more ezpensive. I noticed they cheapened up their packaging for 2013, but just give the product a good once-over before checking out. I have six on my new Alumacraft and two spares. I had Tite Kiks on my old boat... No comparisin. My far the easiest and most positive adjustment and the largest choice of base designs.... Great oroduct at a very good price.
