[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the quality and the size of the bag. Will fit on a smaller kayak.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Exactly what I wanted as a gift to a friend. perfect size and shape. Would have been a 5 if it came in red!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is better and more creative than the online description. It has a semi-rigid insert to hold shape, the interior dry bag is attached with loop-&-hook (Velcro), and there are a couple of ways to secure it on the deck of your kayak. Because some powerboat drivers have not paid close attention, I do prefer bright colors when crossing a lakes. And, of course, bright colors are easier for bush pilots to spot. I do wish it came in a bright color similar to a safety vest.

Used on a self support kayak trip on the middle fork of salmon in Idaho. Ran it on the front deck but mounted so the access end was toward the bow. In reverse the angle makes it easy to read a waterproof map in the bungees and did not interfere with strokes. Great for extra jacket, lunch, and small dry box. No need to open the hatches for gear until camp.

No matter how much I cord I use to lash a dry bag to the deck for my snacks, extra layers, and camera, it never seems to stay put and I can never get into it easily. Sea To Summit solved the problem with a versatile, semi-rigid outer that's easy to rig and a dry bag sewn inside.

I picked one of these up when I was not happy with another deck bag on the market. I was really impressed with how well it stayed in place. There are several straps to really lock it in place. The inside comes with a waterproof bag to help protect your gear. The inner bag is secured with a piece of velcro to help hold it in place. I ended up reselling my other deck bag and replaced it with this one. I have used it on a couple trips so far and I have been really impressed.

The deck bag itself was a great handy access that I LOVED, but my kayak was often in sun, both while being used or stored. I left the deck bag on because it was easier than removing it every single time. The gray web straps that hold the shock cord on top and the buckles on sides QUICKLY deteriorated from the sun. They literally FELL APART after a year or so. Now all that holds the deck bag on is two wide velcro straps on the bottom of the bag, but it does shift some if bumped and not as secure.
