[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Mat is amazing! since it's two separate air chambers/valves in one mat, its not only more comfortable than a single chamber, but makes much less noise when I turn over during the night, which helps me (and anyone else in the tent) sleep much better. Its still super light, and very easy to inflate and deflate and pack up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mat is by far the best mat I’ve used. So worth the money spent. So comfy and user friendly and still there is the reason why it wins awards!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you want to sleep as soundly in the wild as you do at home, this is the pad for you! I’ve used the Comfort Plus Insulated for over 9 years and it has yet to fail me. You get longevity, the ultimate in customizable comfort for 3+ seasons in a small package. Some might fuss over the weight, but I’ve found that every gram of this sleeping pad is worth it. Level up and get the air chair to convert this incredible pad to a delightful wilderness recliner. While I’ve found quality with all Sea to Summit products, this one is especially top of the line. From sleeping on the floor at the grandparents, to van life shenanigans, to the duck blind, to backpacking the Rockies this pad outworks all others and has been a constant comfy companion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned three of these and I’ve never had to replace one due to failure. I used one for 8 years of Military service as an infantryman in Arctic, jungle, and desert environments. This product never let me down. Since then I have bought two more. I love these and I expect them to last me a lifetime as a civilian hiker / camper. I highly recommend this product for someone who needs a sleep pad that will keep comfortable all over the world when used properly and with a sleep system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I´ve used this StoS sleeping mat on a 5-day kayak trip, and it´s been great so far. I have tried many different air sleeping mats over the years, and they´ve all disappointed me at some point, so let´s see how it goes with this one! Of course, I put a regular foam Z-type mat under the air mat, because after learning the hard way, I don´t want to wake up sleeping on the floor anymore.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this pad to fit in my travel bag/backpack and to be used while visiting friends with limited bed space. Love this thing. So easy and comfortable to set up and adapt to my packable quilt. I’m pretty sure I prefer it over a bed now.

This is the worst sleeping pad I have ever used! The thing does not stay inflated by morning it is flat no matter what I do and under what conditions I use it. In addition, the gray portion of the stuff / pump sack ripped off within 1.5 years of use. I purchased this pad because it got good reviews especially for side sleepers and those with back pain. It turns out the only good thing this is good for is to add additional weight to your pack....I can find better uses for that space and weight. Not sure how this thing got all the awards and good reviews but it certainty will not get one from this user.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this pad! For the comfort it provides, I do not mind the extra space it takes. I kayak camp so the added weight is no issue at all. I sleep so well on this pad! I love that you can blow the bottom up separately to provide more cushion especially if there are tree roots. So happy with my purchase.

Great pad. Comfortable and easy to inflate. Does wonderful in Cold weather. Have used it on the Appalachian trail in January February and June. No problems.

I used to think I'd never get a good night's sleep in the backcountry. The Comfort Plus Insulated Air mat has changed that! The dual-layer system lets me customize a softer sleeping surface while keeping the bottom layer fully inflated to protect from hard ground. And I love that it provides redundancy in case of puncture, though I've been using it for years and have never worried about its durability. The only drawbacks are weight and packed size, but it's still my go-to pad for most trips because sleeping well and comfortably makes everything else better, too!

I bought this sleeping mat for the first time in 2016. I was stationed in Alaska as an Airborne Infantryman in the United States Army. This sleeping pad endured for 3 years in that environment. It held up in 40+ Airborne exercises in extreme cold temperatures for weeks at a time and a deployment to Afghanistan. Sleeping on it was something I always looked forward too. It continued to serve me well leading into 2022 when I finally passed it on to a friend and bought me a new one. The new one served me well in the swamps of Louisiana and the blistering heat of Eastern North Carolina while on active duty and even now, as a civilian, it is still going strong. Treated with respect, I imagine this pad will last the average person the better part of a decade. I have never had one fail in any way, but if it does and you forgot your included patch kit, it is compartmentalized, so the opposite half will retain air. To this day, I use it for camping and I keep it deployed full-time in a spare bedroom where I still sleep on it occasionally. It is very comfortable and effective. I highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most comfortable pad ever, although its the first "good" pad iv tried it definitely sets a new standard for everything i sleep on (bed or otherwise) from this day forth. If its in the budget pull the trigger, otherwise there are cheaper ones that will work just fine. Don't get too caught up in R ratings unless your goin into some nasty nasty weather then you're going to splurge on all your gear anyways.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is not small when rolled-up, and not light, so don't plan for it to be your backpacking pad. But it is verrrrry comfortable. If you're mostly car camping or have a second pad for backpacking then I highly recommend it. Both sides of the pad inflate making the total thickness better than any pad I've had before. And Sea to Summit's inflating bag makes it easy to inflate--about 1.5 bags-full for each side. The only reason for four stars instead of five is the rolled-up size and total weight.

First off, I love my Comfort plus. As a side sleeper it’s always difficult to find a comfortable sleeping pad. I tend to camp in cold weather and during the last cold camp it got down to 16°f. My toes were cold in my 0° sleeping bag but that was it. I’d say my biggest complaint is that it skids around on my silpoly tent floor. I wish they still made the Comfort Plus in a rectangular model. The weight difference wasn’t that dramatic and I could keep my feet off the ground. All in all, a great pad for packed size, R value and comfort.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable, and easy to inflate/deflate. Switching from an ultralight cot to this. Sick of the setup time, and the lack of insulation, and this is easily as comfortable. A little lighter, and far easier to set up and take apart. Not as loud as feared.
