Lightweight And To The Point

This was a gift but the recipient was pleased. He appreciated the lightweight, compact design for his future time spent on the trails.

Takes Up No Space In

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Takes up no space in my motorcycle camping pack. Easy to use and clean. It’s fine enough to keep all of the grounds out of my cup.

Not Functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great idea but it is too small to be functional. The grounds also get into your coffee and it takes forever to brew. Have not been able to figure out how to use coffee filters in it to get rid of the grounds problem. Results in a really bitter cup of coffee. Would not buy this again.

Cofee Time . !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best thing i ever got for hiking trips. Works perfect for making the perfect cup of coffee on the trails.

The Definition Of Simple.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already use #4 cone filters in my kitchen, and they fit perfectly in this for easy clean up (I use the brown bamboo). Coffee filters are obviously not required, it works equally well without them. It's a basic pour over, nothing crazy there. What is crazy is the packability and light weight. I could carry this is my shirt pocket or a pants cargo pocket and forget its there. The origami design is so clever and ingenious.

Light Weight And Gets The

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light weight and gets the job done quickly. . . easy to clean to boot. . .

Compact And Durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sea to Summit Frontier Collapsible Ultralight Pour Over is a manual pour over coffee maker with a stainless steel finish. It features a stainless steel mesh filter that is sized for a single serving of ground coffee and a mount base that fits most mug and mouth bottle rims. It is easy to use and is camping friendly.

Great Just Very Inconvenient To Clean

I’ve used this a few times on some shakedown rides before my big bike packing trips. The only way I’m gonna see this being usable for some big trips is with some paper filters. The built in filter screens are very hard to clean and I use almost a full bottle cleaning it. I’m debating going to instant coffee instead of using. Not a deal breaker just very inconvenient.

Light Weight, Compact And Earth-friendly Coffee Strainer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compact, light weight, perfect for backpacking! This filter would be great for pour-overs when you’re camping or even just when you want to make coffee on the go. It folds flat, has a little storage sleeve to help it stay flat, and it very easy to use. The only downside is that the mesh is VERY fine so it take a while for it to strain and it’s also a bit difficult to empty out and clean as well. Overall very useful and earth-friendly!

Travel Convenient, Collapsible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] See to summit frontier collapsible pour over: this is a space saving pour over for your perfect morning brew. It is a good design award gold winner. The pour over holds 30 G of coffee which is a standard serving size. It is collapsible and travel friendly. It is made BPA free and with food grade heat resistant silicone. The mount base fits most mug and wide mouth bottle rims. The super fine stainless steel mesh keeps grinds and let's through the good oils for the perfect pour over brew.

Delicious Coffee. Messy, Too

Just back from a month hiking and backpacking in Chilean and Argentinian Patagonia, where I used this little pour over every morning. Yes, it's super lightweight and brews great coffee (FYI, the grounds I brought with me were a lot more delicious than what I could get in Argentina. Argentinians I met are crazy about Yerba Mate Tea, coffee not so much). My only complaint about this little pour over is the built in filter. Maybe I just don't understand built in filters. It's messy. When I had access to clean, plentiful water, it was easy to clean. But in the backcountry, there's certainly not always clean, abundant water. I didn't want to waste filtered water to clean it, but I also didn't want to use unfiltered water to clean it. Hmmmm. So sometimes I used a paper filter inside the built in filter. And that works, except then the coffee is double filtered and less delicious. So if you like built in filters, you'll love this. If you don't, then....
