Great Little Tent. The Material

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great little tent. The material is light but sturdy. We like the rectangular shape so you can sleep with your head either direction. Lots of ventilation if you want, or you can close it up pretty snug if the wind is cold. We really like the flexibility in how you set it up based on your need. It was wet the first time we used it and so we put up the fly first and set up the rest underneath. We had done a "dry" run at home to make sure we had found all the attaching gadgets and whatnot. Our only gripe was that the QR code they give for a link to various set up videos didn't work. That said, the instructions are clear enough and it is pretty intuitive if you have set up tents before. This is the first tent I have had that the tie downs have a toggle attachment. That was great - slip the T through the loop on the fly when you set it up and pop it out when you are done and store the ropes separately, rather than dangling everywhere and getting tangled. The included pegs were outstanding. We used it with the footprint which is made to attach to the poles and gives you a floor in your vestibules which is a huge plus in my mind. It packs up well in my son's backpack and he says the little bit extra weight for this design and price point is totally worth it to him.

Ikos Lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sent this tent back. There were a several reasons. on setup, the tent rods were difficult, not intuitive. The 3-way plastic connector was difficult. When you packed the tent away, the rods stuck-out of the tent bag. They also exposed a plastic hook that will definitely get broken soon. The rainfly was not easy. I have other tents that the rainfly stashes easily to the side, ready to deploy when the weather turns. This rainfly was not intuitive or easy to stash or deploy. All materials seems to be of quality. It just doesn't work.

Rough And Tumble.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Storm warnings were broadcasted and as I was cruisng through the forest, tree canopies were rocking and shacking in the robust gusts. Trees were being uprooted and branches were falling. My partner and I set up the footprint and fly of the Ikos TR2 to heat up coffee and soup in the comfort of thislight weight roomy tent fly and footprint. The strength and ease of set up frequently gives me peace of mind. Durability and the interior makes riding wild conditions very comfortable. Thank you, Ranger Bob

Ikos Tent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a superlightsweight tent recently and did not like the design. This tent is the perfect larger than typical two person tent and extremely well built. I suspect this may be the last two person tent I need to buy for my kayaking trips. It's robust,!

Ikos Lightweight Tent - 2 Person

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the tent and the footprint. I set it up in my living room to see how it’s done and then a week later took it out on its maiden adventure. My adult son and I shared it and it had just enough room for both of us without any gear. Set up is easy and I like how the footprint fits the shape exactly. I’ve never owned a tent this size so I don’t have anything to compare it with, but so far I'm very pleased with this tent.
