Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps the head warm! My son plays college football, and I bought this for him when it started getting cold. He wears it every game, and really says it's working well - keeping his head warm! He wears it during games and practices, so it's getting a lot of use and holding up well. The only con is how long it took to get help in the store -- unacceptable. No one knew where to find these or what I was talking about. It took 3 people looking and they still couldn't find it for me. I ended up just walking around until I stumbled upon them. That has nothing to do with the hat, though, just poor floor service at Dick's.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not so good Has an abrasive seam up the front that is very uncomfortable on lips and nose. And speaking of that seam, it is already unraveling after 2 uses. I bought this to replace the same one purchased several years ago, but that one is made from a softer material and has not started to come apart after 100s of uses. This one is going from cycling, where I pull it up, to fishing, where I do not - just want my neck and ears covered.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great light headgear. Remarkably warm head and facial cover with a very light weight. Best used under a windproof/resistant hood though as it is not in and of itself wind proof/resistant.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for 30-40° temps Coaching HS baseball is always a challenge with Mid-Atlantic March...bought this to keep the chill off during those outside temps in the 30's, it foes a good job. It's a little things, but just enough to keep the wind off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps the cold out - no sweat I bought this and another in a similar style for walking outside and watching outdoor evening games. I live in the Pacific Northwest, that means cool, moist, if not rainy weather. Drizzle leads to cold ears and neck even with a wide brim hat. 4 or more hours outside, sitting still in 40 degrees F drizzling rain, and comfortable is a win! Working outside or walking in the rain with this is comfortable and (mostly) dry as I don't get sweaty and then feel clammy as I cool down.
