Better Than I Expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a confirmed control player I was ready to hate this paddle. I was mostly wrong. My control was reasonably good, but there was still too much "pop", with too many out balls. With a little more time I could probably adapt as I do like the feel of the face material. Don't like the white handle. It gets grubby looking fairly quickly. Too many of your recent innovations have focused on power. I realize the game is changing, but catering to reformed tennis players completely ignores the 80+% of players who will never be pros, play in a tournament, or aspire to be bangers. Too many players already hit too many balls too hard, and don't need more incentive. Bring back lighter weights, shorter handles.

Bestest Selkirk Paddle Ever With The Sweetest Spot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the paddle I have been waiting for!!! It has power, control, and spin. The biggest sweet spot of all the paddles I have played with ever by Selkirk. This paddle is user friendly right out of the wrapper. No need to break it in. I looking for a paddle that fit between a Vanguard power air and the Luxx and this is it! I usually play with the Invikta shape but I didn't choose the elongated versions instead I preferred the wide body shape but to be fair I would use either of them.

Great Power And Huge Sweet Spot!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really enjoying playing with this paddle. Pretty much splitting time with this and the Project 008. I've traditionally used an elongated shape, but actually really like the widebody. The handle is plenty long, and the wider surface area creates a large sweet spot. I would have given it 5 ***** if I didn't need to add my own grip. The one it comes with is ok, but doesn't seem very soft and doesn't absorb sweat the way Selkirk's premium grips do.

Slk Era Power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received the SLK ERA POWER on June 30th and already it is my favorite go to paddle. I've been playing the Vanguard Pro for the last several months and still love it but the SLK ERA packs more power while still offering unbelievable control because of the enormous sweet spot on the WIDEBODY version. The 16 mm core plus the added handle length makes this a great all around paddle, once again nice job Selkirk!
