Great Paddle, May Need Some Customization

I love the paddle but as an individual with smaller hands I’m very disappointed in the one size fits all grip. Being able to customize was one of the main reasons I’ve stuck with the Selkirk line. So I filed down the molded handle as much as I dared and regripped with Pickleskins Skinny Grip tape. I now have a great paddle with the feel and control that I need. The extra ‘pop’ that this paddle delivers has made a noticeable difference in strengthening my backhand shots. It also helps deliver the ball deep to the baseline with less effort on serves and drives. It does take some getting used to so as not to over hit drops and dinks which is why regripping to fit was so important in maintaining a good feel and touch.

I adjusted to this new paddle quickly. The most noticeable difference is the power generation from this paddle. The ball really flies off the paddle. This paddle also has good texture on the paddle that really puts tremendous spin on the ball. Overall, this is a great paddle upgrade for me that I’m really loving. My opponents, not so much.
