I bought my first Vanguard 2.0 Epic a couple of years ago, to upgrade from my Amped Epic (which I loved as a 'starter' paddle). I only switched because the reviews of the 2.0 piqued my interest in more control. It literally transformed my game, though sacrificing power (not my game) for much better touch on my dinks and lobs. I realized I had worn enough grit off the surface to warrant a new paddle. I've looked at the Power Air, but this 2.0 Epic is still the paddle for me. It's all around performance is 5 Star in my book.

I am really happy with this Vanguard - Epic paddle - good control and good power. I first tried the LUXX and found it was too heavy for me. I returned it and replaced it with the Epic. I promply received the new paddle and a credit for the LUXX. Great company to buy from.
